I recently purchased a 2015 Bison Trail hand from your company.
I wanted to recount my experience.
When I called I was connected to Dan Byers, who immediately set out to listen to what I was looking for in my first LQ trailer for a single rider with one horse.
He didn't try to upsell me to a super duper deluxe 17 horse rig, but when I had settled on the 2H Trailhand, he pointed out some features I was lacking that would be beneficial, such as electric awning, jack and goodyears. Nice upgrades, along with a nice pull out sofa.
When it came to financing , I had enough of a down payment that allowed for extended warranty coverage on trailer and tires to be financed in with the deal along with all my Fl state taxes and fees. The paperwork aspect was painless.
Your 24 hour live chat was awesome, and when I contacted them I got a personal response from Dan within minutes, even at 9pm!
We had the entire deal completed in several days, and delivery scheduled within a week. A great time frame in my opinion.

From the moment delivery was scheduled I was contacted immediately by John Jensen who identified himself as my deliver agent.
He was most interested in delivering the rig on MY time schedule to suit me and my work , which may be unpredictable.
He kept in phone and text contact with me every step on the way, and arrived at my home precisely when he stated he would.

His care for my trailer was evident, as it arrived beautifully clean and much prettier in person than the pictures allow.
He carefully backed and placed the trailer at my chosen location.
He spent the next several hours with my going through a complete checklist of features and functions and all the safety aspects of the trailer, to my satisfaction, providing answers to all of my multiple questions. I was actually a little disappointed that he had to get back on the road to Ocala for a haul back, as I wanted to take him for a trail ride and dinner to thank him for all the time and expertise he shared with me.
I am extremely pleased with my purchase, and although I have much to still learn and experience with my new Bison Trailhand, I have already learned that the people at Dixie Horse and Mule Company are good folk and deserve highest praise.
Many of my fellow members of Myakka River Riders have made trailer purchases from DHMC, and I will recommend to anyone looking for a new rig to contact Dan Byers and ask to have John Jensen to deliver their purchase, as I count them both as friends now.

Dixie Horse and Mule are some of the most descent people I have ever dealt with. They always called when new inventory came in, they have a wide selection of Like/New Medium Duty Haul Units. Of course they are used but they stand behind everything they sell and with a guarantee. These are good people, caring and have helped a lot of people make their dreams come true! It's Christmas, the time when all persons should be spreading good joy, sending warm greetings and above all sharing unconditional love with their neighbors! Dan, Patrick here, came down few days ago and picked up the 4 star with Dad. I just wanted to take a min and let you know just how excited my wife was when I came rolling in at dusk with the lights on the trailer all of them thanks to your crew working and looking like a million dollars!! My wife wouldn't stop screaming for anything! I wish you could have seen her reaction. You can see the smile on her face in the pic I attached. Priceless! Anyways, I fully plan on posting my very positive buying experience on line for others to read about. I have told everyone so far that, I've never in my life had such a pleasurable and smooth buying experience. What you guys are doing down there is very rare! I couldn't have asked for a better or easier purchase. Yall are definitely high class and I wish the best for everyone down there. We love our new trailer and the buying experience itself was worth it all!!! You and your team made our anniversary perfect and I plan on letting everyone I can know about it! Hey Dan,just wanted to say thx for all the hard work you and crew at dhmco did for us
on the 2009 shadow horse trailer...you answered all of our 10,000 questions,took extra photos and
always responded to our e-mails...the trailer was purchased sight unseen,a scary proposition all the
way from massachusetts,but it was in great shape when it arrived as you stated it would be...lost a couple of hub caps on delivery
somewhere in Newyork i bet lol...your parts people sent them to me within days,again great service....also gotta say
thx to paula who delivered it all the way from Alabama to Massachusetts 1300 mi in under 30 hrs.. you got guts girl !!!
Still dont know how you did it paula yer awesome !!!! Great dealing with both of you and dhmco !!!...thx again just got the cookies,great way to finish a deal....as i told dan i would advertise at all the shows we do in upcoming season

If you ever own your own business you should run it just like Dixie Horse and Mule Company, that's what I told my kids when I got home last night. This is quite possibly the best business I have ever had the pleasure of transacting with. Mike Bozeman was my first contact on the phone and our guide through this process I refuse to call him a salesman as he is nothing like any of the negative connotations that come to mind when one hears that word. He was easy going and knowledgeable and equally comfortable talking to me about hunting as he was my daughter about her horse. He was just a cool guy with a lot of trailers to show us, exactly whet we needed. Our trade-in started out as a mess because I didn't have the title for the old trailer. In stepped Jessica Little who made that problem go away with a few phone calls and strokes on her computer. She called me several times along the way to keep me posted on the progress of obtaining the title and I never worried about it because it was abundantly clear she had done this before and had it completely under control. What may have taken me months to take care of was done by her in 2 weeks. Fireball did our walkthrough on pickup day and wasn't satisfied until every latch, lock, and hinge worked to perfection. He was great, clearly knew the trailer well, and seemed proud of the product he was presenting to us. He made sure we had everything we needed before we left, including some things we would not have thought of. And along the way Mike Shaffer came out to introduce himself and provide his contact information should we ever have any trouble with how to work things or if something broke on the road. Cynthia had all of our paperwork ready so all that was left was to sign my name a few times, write a check, and hook up to my new trailer. My old one was gone so fast I barely got to say goodbye! And then the finishing touch, some DHMCO branded gear to take with us. I was looking for a shirt or hat to buy and was disappointed not to find one, and then y'all gave us some shirts, huggers and key chains--awesome.

From your website to your phone message to your property and inventory to your people, y'all definitely have a great understanding of your brand and how to treat customers. I was blown away by the entire process and feel grateful to have met all of you. I'll send any business I can your way because anyone who buys a trailer anywhere else is a fool!

ijust want to thank you for having such a great staff. i am very happy wiyh my trailer and the way your staff did there job. from the salesman and the lovly lady that handled the paper work. lets not forget the great help out back going over the trailer and making sure all was good. it was about a 900 mile drive for me and worth every mile. thanks again.

We want to say THANK YOU to everyone involved with the repairs to our Bison Horse Trailer. Bison really stepped up to show concern for their product and to make sure customers are enjoying their trailers.

We had met Don, owner of Dixie Horse and Mule, a few years back at the Alabama Horse Fair where we had a vendor booth. We have met a lot of DH&M customers over the past few years and all talk about how he takes care of his customers. I have to say, now first hand for us, he his top-notch when it comes to customer service.

Don and his staff provided excellent customer service in making the repairs to our trailer. Michael, the service department manager, goes above and beyond to make customers happy. Michael kept us informed through email and phone calls on the progress on our trailer. When we made the trip back he had the trailer prepped for our overnight stay on the lot. He met us first thing the next morning and was on top of every issue. I cant say enough about Michaels customer service.

Again, thank you to everyone! We are quite happy with how our issues were resolved.

We are pleased with our trailer and our purchasing experience from Dixie Horse and Mule Company. Mike was a pleasure to deal with, and put up with several phone calls and e-mails from me about the trailer prior to us making the final decision.

Michael, in your service department, has also been great. This being our first RV, we had multiple questions on how to do certain things the first few nights we stayed in our trailer. Your service guys Fireball did a great job in going over the workings of the trailer prior to us leaving the lot, but it was a bit overwhelming for us at the moment. Michael has patiently taken my phone calls and assisted me with whatever our problems were at the moment. Most of the time it was because of something that I was doing wrong, or not doing.

One of your service guys did not get his name helped us move all of our stuff from our old trailer into the new one.

Cindy, in your finance department, was very nice to deal with as well. She also recommended a place for us to spend our first night in the trailer on coast of Florida, something I only dreamed of prior to this trip.

We traveled over 1000 miles to get to DHMCO, but we were able to make a mini vacation out of it. This trailer and the mini vacation is our anniversary 25 years gift to each other, thanks to you and your staff.

We have already recommended two of our friends to DHMCO. Thank you again!
